AppleInsider article In a recent interview with CNBC, Tim Cook revealed that Apple’s next iPhone will be the best-selling iPhone ever, with retail sales surpassing $1 billion in sales.
While the company has yet to announce a release date, the announcement was made at Apple’s annual WWDC keynote last month, and Cook said that it will likely be announced in the coming weeks.
“The next iPhone is going to be the biggest and best iPhone ever,” Cook said.
“If you’re a retail person or you’re somebody who works at a retailer, you know that the iPhone is the best phone ever made.
It’s going to get you the most orders, it’s going, and it’s a tremendous device.”
Cook said that Apple is targeting retail stores for the iPhone 7 Plus, which is expected to be released in September.
“We’re going to deliver a better, better, more reliable iPhone 7,” Cook continued.
“I don’t want people to think it’s the same iPhone that came out last year.”
Apple has already launched the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6c in September, and the company is also expected to unveil an iPhone 7 in the next couple of weeks.
