The retailing juggernaut has announced plans to begin accepting online gift cards at all its retail stores in the United States.
Hallmark announced the plans Tuesday.
It’s the second major U.S. retail chain to add online gift card payment options to its stores, following Target and Best Buy.
The retailer said it will start accepting online payments for all of its retail locations, including its retail-only stores, by the end of March.
The company said it expects the new card option to add approximately 1,000 more retail stores to its network, adding 2,400 new jobs to the workforce in the process.
