Amazon stores open in New Zealand

New Zealand’s first online shopping mall opened in Auckland today, the country’s largest city said.

It was the first store of its kind to open in the country.

Amazon’s flagship stores in the United States have been hit by high occupancy rates and a drop in sales, and many customers complain of poor customer service.

“The launch of Amazon’s second online retail store in Auckland was a huge milestone for New Zealand,” Auckland Mayor Len Brown said.

“This is the first time that Amazon stores have opened in a city in the world.

It’s a wonderful day for our city and for our region.”

The Auckland store opened in the city centre on Tuesday night.

Amazon said it planned to open more stores in Auckland over the next year.

“We’re excited about the opportunity for our community to shop at Amazon stores, and we’re proud to be a part of this new chapter in Auckland’s history,” the company said in a statement.

The store’s opening comes after several other online retail outlets opened in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Seattle.

Auckland’s first Amazon store, on Wellington Road, is owned by retail firm The Higgles, which has operated Amazon’s Auckland headquarters for the past 10 years.

Its owners are not currently interested in opening a second store in the region.

New Zealand’s National Party said the store opened with a message of hope.

Prime Minister John Key said New Zealanders were in the “best position to save their city” and that Amazon was committed to supporting local businesses.

“The Government is committed to opening new stores in cities around the country, and I’m pleased that we have the opportunity to expand our supply chain in the Auckland region,” Key said.

He said Amazon would invest $20 million in new business in Auckland, while it also planned to build a new office in the town.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said the company was working hard to support local businesses, which was good news for Auckland.

“We’ve got to make sure that we’re helping them in a way that is as good for the local economy as it is for Amazon,” she said.

“This is good news because we’ve got the biggest retailer in the nation, the second biggest retailer on the planet, in Auckland.”

The Auckland company, which operates the largest online retail stores in Europe, has a strong track record of success.

The company says it employs about 2,500 people across the world and has invested in more than 400,000 retail jobs.

In April, Amazon announced it was investing $1.2 billion in its online retail business.
